finally finished painting the "charging station." seems to be working well, so far. definitely neater than my old key box where everything was dumped. it's not the most skillfully built woodworking project you'll ever see, but i'm pretty happy with it.

we took the kids to the aquarium at Fort Fisher over the weekend. on the way out we stopped to feed the seagulls, which turned out to be rebekah's favorite part of the day.

Indy Moto GP Trip 2008

I'm working on updating my blog today, and realize I haven't posted anything from our trip to the Moto GP in Indianapolis last year. Very briefly, Chad, Glenn and I took a week total to work our way up to Indy and back. We rode through western NC, TN, Kentucky, to Indiana and back through Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, TN, and finally home to NC. We had a fun time riding backroads most of the way. There are tons of pics posted on flickr.

Here's the full comic (for what it's worth). It was a great lecture! SCAD and the Indie Island made this the best HeroesCon yet! Thanks to theRab for taking these photos.
